Effective date: 1 July 2026 This policy covers: the sellbetter.ai marketing website (the “Site”). It does not cover the Sell Better application/service, which — once available — will be governed by separate product terms and a Data Processing Agreement, provided when the product becomes available.
1. Who we are
This Site is operated by JASCENT PTY LTD, the company developing Sell Better (“Sell Better”, “we”, “us”). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@sellbetter.ai.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the Site:
- Information you give us — when you submit the trial / early-access form: your work email, company, which CRM you use, and team size. These submissions are stored in our Firebase (Firestore) database. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
- Analytics data — with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used (e.g. page views, referrer, approximate location, device type). GA4 sets cookies and is loaded only after you accept our analytics banner — if you decline, no analytics scripts or cookies are loaded. We enable IP anonymisation and do not enable Google advertising/remarketing signals. See https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Technical data — like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request data (e.g. IP address, browser/user-agent) to deliver and secure the Site.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site ad-tracking pixels. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent (see above).
3. How we use it
- To respond to your trial / early-access request and contact you about it.
- To send you product and onboarding communications you’ve signed up for (you can opt out any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us).
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used and to improve it.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal basis
Where applicable, we rely on: your consent (for analytics and marketing communications), our legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, securing and improving the Site), and legal obligation where required.
5. Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the Site, under appropriate agreements. In particular, Cloudflare acts as our processor for hosting (serving and securing the Site). Google (Firebase) acts as our processor for Cloud Functions and Firestore (receiving and storing your trial / early-access form submission) and, with your consent, Google Analytics 4 (aggregate usage analytics).
We may also disclose data if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other recognised transfer mechanisms.
7. Retention
We keep trial / early-access form submissions and related correspondence only as long as needed for the purposes above, and no longer than 12 months after your last contact with us, after which we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see section 8).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to/restrict our processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email contact@sellbetter.ai. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with an updated effective date, and where appropriate notify you.
